1. It’s now more memory efficient, it reportedly consumes 20% less memory than the previous release
2. The netbook version of Ubuntu 10.10 has a completely redesigned GUI, with a taskbar on the LEFT that sort of looks like the windows taskbar but acts like a dock. More information here.
3. It has tighter integration with rithmbox, you can now switch between songs directly from the sound menu (where the try icons are, right next to the clock).
4. It’s overall more polished.
5. The Ubuntu Software Center (Ubuntu’s version of Apple’s App store) is completely redesigned and reportedly being faster.
